On Sunday 9th November 2025, the Lodge was proudly represented at the annual Remembrance Day Service held at Cruden Parish Church. Right Worshipful Master Bro. Gordon Daly led a distinguished party of ten brethren, who assembled at 10:20am before entering the church together and taking their seats for the service.
Accompanying the Lodge members were the two children of Bro. Jake Haynes. Notably, one of them—aptly named Poppy—undertook the important role of wreath bearer. Carrying out her duties with remarkable confidence and composure, she laid the wreath before the altar during the service, and later again at the war memorial when the congregation gathered outside to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Lodge was once again strongly represented, with a commendable number of brethren in attendance. Their presence served to reinforce the enduring and important role the Lodge continues to play within the local community, particularly in acts of remembrance and respect for the fallen.
