Lodge St Olaf continues to thrive, welcoming a steady stream of enthusiastic new candidates. The latest addition to its ranks is Bro. Russell Findlater, who was warmly received into the fraternity.

A packed lodge, filled with both members and visitors, bore witness to an exceptional First Degree ceremony. The ritual was executed with remarkable precision, earning the admiration and approval of all in attendance. The evening was a true testament to the lodge’s commitment to excellence in Masonic tradition.

Beyond the formal proceedings, lively discussions took place regarding the lodge’s vibrant social calendar. Among the most eagerly anticipated events is the upcoming gathering this Saturday in the Lodge rooms, where brethren and friends will come together to watch Scotland take on England in the historic battle for the Calcutta Cup—one of rugby’s most prestigious and fiercely contested trophies.

Looking further ahead, the lodge has an exciting lineup of social activities. A poker night is set for the 28th of March, promising an evening of skill, strategy, and camaraderie. In June, members will enjoy an exhilarating day out at the Perth Racecourse for the prestigious Gold Cup, offering an opportunity to experience the thrill of horse racing in great company.

Following the evening’s proceedings, all retired to The Level, the lodge’s social hub, where a fantastic buffet of snacks and refreshments was laid out. The atmosphere was one of warmth and good cheer, with members and visitors alike enjoying the hospitality and fellowship that Lodge St Olaf is renowned for.

With a full schedule of degree work on the horizon and an abundance of social events to enjoy, it is clear that Bro. Russell Findlater has joined Lodge St Olaf at a truly exciting time.
